"Another boring review. Big, small-town diner. This place can handle a crowd. The parking lot is sized appropriately for the traffic. Delicious breakfast cooked exactly as ordered. Excellent crispy bacon, extra crispy buttery hashbrowns, 2 sunny side and one home made biscuit with average diner cream gravy. My wife had the 2 thick fluffy pancakes, a couple over easy and that crispy bacon. The pictures tell the story. Comfortable dining, cafe environment. Great friendly service. Eat breakfast here; then try lunch tomorrow!"

"My son and I decided to go get breakfast this morning. We originally stopped at Dennys but unfortunately they were short staffed and were going to have long wait times for food. So we decided we would go check out Old Street Diner after looking at their menu online. They were pretty busy when we got there but we were seated quickly. We started off with some fried pickles which were really good. My son ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and quite enjoyed it. I tried a bite of his and was super impressed. I ordered the chicken & waffles and enjoyed it as well. The staff was great. Food was reasonably priced and we got a lot for the price. I was very pleased with it all and plan to go again in the future. If you are near Chouteau and haven't been yet, give it a try!"

"Found this diner while looking for something other than the two Amish places. The service was quite quick. I got two eggs, over easy with bacon, home fries and biscuit with gravy. The food came out fast and was great. The server checked on me regularly and was kind. Marking this down for my next trip to Chouteau."

"Nice restaurant with very friendly staff. My family all loved the meals here. Their country fried steak would make Oklahoma proud. Good stuff. Worth a visit if in the Chouteau area."

"Great local place for breakfast. It is hard to find a dirty spoon type place anymore. This is a traditional breakfast place, exactly what you would expect to find in small town America. Tons of small town people, eating, discussing the week. Good food, hard working staff. Definitely a good choice if you are in the area."

"I like here several times. Breakfast and lunch. If you're super hungry, try the chicken fried steak! This thing's huge. For lunch I would recommend the sausage Burger. It's awesome. This food is a lot closer to home cooked food than the place across Highway 69 that claims it has home cooked food (hint, that place over there uses food from Sam's). Service is always quick and friendly. On most days they have specials for lunch. I love Fridays because it is catfish day! All for $9.99!"

"Service isnt bad but only going in at lunch everywhere is busy. I think a "Seat Yourself Sign" would be helpful or maybe there is and didn't notice it. Ordered the double club as I previously had and as usual sandwhich and fries are great, but not $13.79 great for a slice of ham, slice of turkey, and bacon strip."
